Glendale to LAX — Private Car Service for Airport Transfers

Glendale might be in the Foothills, but it’s one of LA’s most connected cities home to more than 200,000 residents, a thriving business district, and one of the largest Armenian-American communities in the country. People fly out of this city for corporate trips, international visits to family abroad, and everything in between. And when the destination is an international flight or a long-haul route that Burbank doesn’t cover, LAX is the airport of choice.

The problem? Getting from Glendale to LAX on your own terms without surge pricing and without stressing about whether your rideshare driver will show up  isn’t always easy. That’s where JM Transportation comes in.

We’re a licensed, insured private car service (TCP42287-B) operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week out of Los Angeles. We offer flat-rate pricing for airport transfers with no surge, no hidden fees, and no surprises. Just a clean vehicle, a professional driver, and a pickup time you can count on.

Glendale to LAX Overview

What the Drive Actually Looks Like

The straight-line distance from Glendale to LAX is roughly 28 miles, though depending on where in Glendale you’re starting — Brand Boulevard, Montrose, or the Verdugo Hills area — you may be looking at 30 to 32 miles.

That extra mileage adds up, but our pricing remains clear: $100 base fare plus $4 per mile, so you always know what you’re paying before you book.

On a typical trip with moderate traffic — such as a mid-morning or early-afternoon departure — the drive usually runs about 40 to 55 minutes. During the morning commute or a Friday afternoon push toward LAX, it can stretch to 70 to 100 minutes.

We track traffic and plan accordingly, which is why we ask for your flight time when you book, not just your address.

Route Planning

Route Options We Use

There is no single best route from Glendale to LAX. The right choice depends on time of day, traffic conditions, and exactly where the pickup begins.

01

The 2 or 134 West to the 405 South

This is the most common approach. You leave Glendale on the 134 westbound, or connect from the 2, then continue toward the 405 South before exiting near Century Boulevard and LAX.

Works especially well during non-peak hours.

02

Surface Streets Through Burbank and West LA

When freeway traffic is heavily backed up, cutting through Burbank, Studio City, and across corridors like Sunset or Olympic can save meaningful time.

This route requires more driver attention, but can be the smarter move during rush hour.

03

101 South to 110 South to 105 West

For departures from the southern side of Glendale, connecting to the 101, then the 110, and finally the 105 can create an efficient airport approach.

Best used when the interchanges are moving cleanly and timing is in your favor.
